Interviews and Background Checks are Preformed

We understand that all families are unique and 
have individual needs.  Therefore, our goal is to
match our sitters/nannies to families based on
personalities, experience, required duties and proximity.

We personally interview all sitters before they join Santa Fe Sitters.  Magali has excellent evaluation skills for effectively pre-qualifying sitters. If she is not comfortable leaving her children with the interviewed sitter, that sitter will never be referred to any family.

A requirement of at least two references and two years of childcare experience is necessary. Background Checks are preformed on all of our sitters.

Santa Fe Sitters highly encourages you interview more than one sitter.  This not only allows you to compare sitters, but you also get a chance to see who your children will react to the best.  Interviews also allow sitters to better understand your family’s needs and ensure them that they are the right person to care for your children.

Committment from our Sitters

Sitters tend to sign-on with a referral agency when they have nothing to hide. Those who are less serious, who have something to hide, or who don't intend to make long-term commitments will tend to respond to newspaper/internet ads.
